Dear Friend,
I hope you’re well. For four years, Milcu was virtually ignored by the residents of his village. This dog was treated like an outcast and shooed away whenever he approached them looking for a scrap to eat or just a quick pat on the head.
When staff from PETA Germany and its partner Eduxanima first met him during a spay/neuter clinic, they soon learned just how desperate Milcu’s situation had become. A snare, likely used by some cruel person attempting to catch him, had become deeply embedded in his neck, leaving him with an infection so severe that it had worked its way into his larynx.
For animals like Milcu, the work supported by PETA’s Global Compassion Fund is a life-saver.
Please, help provide animal care experts with the resources they need this World Spay Day by making a special Vanguard Society gift today.
Milcu was lucky the team found him when they did. He’s already had one surgery on his neck since first being neutered, and with one more, he will hopefully heal completely. Right now, there are many others like him struggling to survive on Romania’s streets, producing litters of puppies and kittens who may fall victim to starvation, untreated injuries, or cruel people or wind up in overburdened and underfunded shelters.
The Global Compassion Fund is today powering the vital work that is breaking the cycle of suffering.
Friend, before World Spay Day ends, please donate to this life-changing fund.
Thank you for all you do to help animals.
