Dear Friend,

The low rumble of engines cuts in the morning air as a row of fishing boats drive their catch toward the rocky shore into the shallows. Their targets? Dolphins. Once they trap a pod in a shallow cove, they capture some of the dolphins to sell to aquariums. The rest are brutally stabbed to death.

Every year, these “drive hunts” kill hundreds of dolphins and small whales in Taiji, Japan. It may surprise you to learn that Yahoo! Japan is profiting from this slaughter by selling dolphin and whale meat on its website from these hunts.

We must fight this cruelty. Take action today to urge Yahoo Japan! to stop supporting the Taiji massacre and stop selling dolphin and whale meat!

Closing down the market on Yahoo! Japan is an important step toward ending this barbaric practice. The Internet giant’s main competitors have already banned the sale of whale and dolphin meat. Now it’s Yahoo!’s turn to stop profiting from this cruel practice.

Tell them to take a giant step in animal welfare by stopping the sale of dolphin and whale meat on all of its websites.

Thank you for all that you do for animals.

Sincerely,

 Andrew Rowan
