Thank you to all who shared their excellent captures for the Winter Birds Photo Contest held by Birds Canada in December 2020 and January 2021. The large number of submissions suggests that birds are helping many of us make the best of the winter. It was fortunate that Pine Siskins, Evening Grosbeaks, and certain other northern species ventured further south and in greater numbers than usual this season. This made our time spent with birds all the more memorable.

Congratulations to the prize winners this year (Alain Clavette, Jessica Chaberski, and Liza Delaney), who will be receiving a one-year subscription to BirdWatch Canada, a 340-g bag of Birds and Beans bird-friendly coffee, and an Armstrong suet cake feeder with suet cake.

Thank you for submitting your photos, and for all you do in support of Birds Canada and the conservation of wild birds!
