An opportunity to hear other parents' experiences, learn new strategies and share as much or as little of your story as you wish.

Understand clearly what stress is & how it affects you - Identify those factors which cause you stress and establish how you cope with these at present. Learn about coping mechanisms and each other’s coping styles. Identify new ways of coping with stress & reducing your stress levels. Be motivated to try new stress busting ideas until you find ones that fit with you!

5 Steps to Wellbeing - Evidence suggests there are 5 steps you can take to improve your mental health and wellbeing; Connecting with others, Being Active - discover a physical activity you enjoy and that suits your level of mobility and fitness, Making the most of the world around you and what you are feeling, Learning, try something new, rediscover an old interest, and Giving to others; small acts of kindness. Now, at a time when people are having to stay home and social distance, improving your Wellbeing’ is more important than ever and this session looks at positive way of coping and recognises stress as a huge factor for families. We will explore ways of reducing your stress by improving the areas that could help you feel more positive and able to get the most out of life.

* During the Covid-19 lockdown, it is very important to manage your stress and improve your Wellbeing. This online workshop gives the opportunity to hear other parents' experiences, learn new strategies and share as much or as little of your story as you wish.
