"It's time to redesign our streets around people, not vehicles."
Agree? Join our election campaign

This May elections are taking place across the UK - and Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking, has put together a set of demands which explain why our elected representatives at all levels need to make it easier for people walking and wheeling.

If you agree, take a moment to help us get the word out where you live by sending a letter to your local newspapers, highlighting the benefits we all stand to gain from more walkable, wheelable streets.

We are calling for action to:

  • End pedestrian deaths and injuries on roads
  • Tackle air pollution
  • Make school streets safe
  • Make walking and wheeling easier and cut the clutter on our pavements
