Meeting with a passionate JDRF advocate about the lived experience of children and adults with T1D can have an enormous impact on an elected politician and help influence public policy and budget decisions. It’s important for our political representatives to understand that continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and flash glucose monitoring (FGM) devices are life-changing technologies that help people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) achieve healthier overall blood sugar numbers by taking the guesswork out of blood sugar management.
