Call for well-placed electric vehicle charging points
Email your local council

Charging points for electric vehicles (EVs) are currently being installed across the country as part of action to move away from petrol and diesel vehicles.

Unfortunately, all too often this is coming at the expense of pedestrians as they are being placed directly on the pavement.

There are other options!

This avoidable pavement clutter is inconvenient for everyone and particularly problematic for people in wheelchairs, those with pushchairs or those living with sight loss. Everyone should be able to walk safely and freely on their local pavements.

Use this easy online action to write to your local councillors and ask them to move the offending charging points.

Ask your local councillors to protect #Pavementsforpeople
