Support the Iles-de-Boucherville National Park expansion project
Let yourself be invaded by the
"Yes in my backyard!" Syndrome
Located between Montreal and Boucherville, the Tailhandier Flats
Archipelago is a federal territory of approximately 2 km2, bordering the north
of the Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. The Quebec Chapter of the Canadian
Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS Quebec) and the Friends of the
Îles-de-Boucherville National Park are asking the Canadian Federal Government
to cede this natural environment to the Government of Quebec to be annexed to
the national park. This would consolidate an important nature park for the
citizens of the Greater Montreal area and facilitate the management of the
ecological integrity of the sites.

conservation and access to nature.
