We want more accessible content so that blind and partially sighted people can enjoy TV in the same way as everyone else.
The Digital Economy Act 2017 paved the way for requirements to make more video-on-demand services accessible with subtitles, sign language and audio description. But the targets for broadcasters have not been introduced and the law is yet to be put into action!
