Ban the Dog & Cat Fur Trade
Cats and dogs—and seals—are subjected to unspeakable cruelty as they are slaughtered for their fur, which is traded on international markets. Shockingly, some Canadian government officials want to keep our borders open to cat and dog fur—because they feel a ban on cat and dog fur might compromise their ability to take action against nations that have banned seal product trade.
Please tell Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz that as a Canadian voter, you demand he take action now to ban cat and dog fur. Please also let him know that you strongly oppose all attempts by the Canadian government to challenge nations that have banned seal product trade.
