Too Much Money for Nukes, Not Enough for Human Health

Imagine what we could invest in instead of shelling out billions of dollars each year for nuclear weapons. That money could be used to fund essential, life-saving programs and services that don't involve destruction of the planet—e.g. clean water, nutrition for schoolchildren, healthcare disparities, income inequality, environmental health hazards and many other vital issues.

Looking for patient-oriented brochures on climate change and health? PSR board member Todd Sack, MD has prepared a series of brochures that PSR members are free to use. Access them here. They are part of Dr. Sack's larger "My Green Doctor" project, which helps practitioners green their healthcare offices and save energy and money. The project includes a wide variety of simple steps, as well as brief instructions that can easily be inserted into a Green Team or staff meeting agenda. PSR clinicians are invited to register for My Green Doctor, free of charge.
