Take action to stop the global scandal of 9 million child deaths

This September, world leaders will be meeting at the United Nations in New York to discuss progress on important targets to end poverty and disease – the Millennium Development Goals or MDGs which were signed up to by 147 governments back in 2000. MDG 4 which aims to reduce child deaths by two-thirds by 2015 from 1990 levels, is one of the most off-track goals. As is MDG 5, which aims to reduce maternal deaths.

Our Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg is attending on behalf of Prime Minister David Cameron. This meeting is a now-or-never opportunity for him to push for action on behalf of the UK to end the global scandal of nearly 9 million child deaths a year.

Sign our petition to Nick Clegg and ask him to end the global scandal of nearly 9 million child deaths a year.
