Advocacy Success Story: CNIB’s Right to Sight Campaign

- Nadia Lissog, age 79, who recently received a groundbreaking treatment for wet AMD, restoring vision in her right eye. In 2008, CNIB’s Right to Sight advocacy campaign successfully lobbied government decision-makers about this sight-saving treatment. The treatment was subsequently made available under the public health plan in Ontario where Nadia lives.
