Tell your MP to change the politics and save the climate
MPs are coming back from their summer break with just two months left before the global summit on climate change in Copenhagen. The Copenhagen negotiations are deadlocked and we're running out of time to get the deal the planet needs and the UK has yet to show true commitment to making the process a success.
We need politicians who are thinking about the next generation, not just the next election.
The government's own Committee on Climate Change says that Britain is not doing enough to meet its commitments, and insist that a "step change" in emissions cuts is needed.
So we've issued a climate manifesto and are asking all politicians to sign it. It lists twelve simple steps our politicians could take to quickly cut Britain's carbon use, and to provide the help poorer countries need to develop clean energy, adapt to the impacts of climate change and protect their rainforests.
Please joining us calling on your MP to sign the manifesto and commit to urgent and effective action to save our climate. It will only take a few minutes and we really need your help.
If you're an MP and would like to sign the manifesto, sign up here.
