Urge 5 Senators to Support the "Harb Seal Bill"

On March 3rd, 2009, Senator Mac Harb introduced a historic bill, S-229, to end the commercial seal hunt in Canada. For the first time, Canadians can support a legislative initiative in our own country that would save countless defenseless seal pups each year from a horrible fate.

Senator Harb has received tens of thousands of messages of support for his proposal, but his Senate colleagues still refuse to consider it. Time is running out to find a seconder for the "Harb Seal Bill," and we urgently need you to contact selected Senators to ask them to support this important legislation.

TAKE ACTION
The overwhelming majority of Canadians oppose the commercial seal kill and Senators have a duty to listen to the public and allow discussion of S-229. Please help Senator Harb keep the debate alive in Parliament by contacting Senators and finding a seconder before it's too late.
