Missing: The Right to Read
Canadians who are blind or partially sighted have just a fraction of the information they need to learn, work and participate in society. The rest? Missing. The CNIB Library is a lifeline for these Canadians. But CNIB, a charity, can't do it alone.
Canada's governments are developing their budgets for the coming year. They must act NOW to allocate resources to preserve the CNIB Library. CNIB is contributing its share. Canada's federal, provincial and territorial governments must do so too.
Please support the right to read. It takes just a few minutes and three easy steps:
- Enter your information in the fields below.
- Use our pre-written letter templates to email your Premier then Canada's Prime Minister – or customize your own message.
- Help us spread the word to your family, friends and social networks.
