Take action for families feeling the pinch

At this time of year, many of us are feeling a bit strapped for cash. But for families struggling on a low income, feeling the pinch can have more serious consequences.

Child benefit can be a lifeline for families living in poverty, helping them meet the costs of bringing up children that every family faces. But with Child Benefit frozen since 2010, and prices rising, families have little to fall back on.

With so little money spare would you prioritise healthy meals, a warm home, or a new pair of school shoes for your child? Low-income families are forced to make impossible decisions like this every day.

We’re calling on the Chancellor to end the freeze on children’s benefits, and give families the support they need to afford the essentials every family needs.

Will you help us by emailing your MP and ask them to contact the Chancellor?
