Help create the South Okanagan-Similkameen National Park Reserve
Since 2002, CPAWS-BC has been working hard with local communities to establish a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan, which would protect the highest concentration of species at risk in the province and the threatened grasslands they inhabit, and bring new jobs and money to the region.
Sign the petition asking the new government of B.C. to finally protect our treasured, globally unique grasslands.
|"I am calling on the B.C. government to act urgently to establish a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan-Similkameen.
A well-protected National Park Reserve, which respects First Nations culture and traditions, and preserves wildlife connectivity, is the best way to ensure that we are leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come."
