Help protect funding for neglected tropical diseases!

President Obama just unveiled his fiscal year 2016 budget request – including cuts to key global health accounts. Funding for the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Neglected Tropical Disease Program was cut by $13.5 million – a sharp decrease from required funding levels.

This marks the fourth year in a row that President Obama has recommended a significant cut to the NTD Program. This worrying trend must stop.

Send an email to your Representative, encouraging them to protect funding for this critical program. Congress has the opportunity to maintain or increase funding for NTDs in 2016 – as they’ve done in the past.
