Make sure people have access to cataract surgery
Delays and restrictions to cataract surgery mean that people in your area might not be receiving sight saving surgery when they need it. This is unacceptable. Decisions about access to treatment must always be based on clinical need and in the best interests of patients.
Do you agree? Write to your Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the local organisation that makes decisions about health services near you, to let them know how important cataract surgery is to you and your community.
We’ll keep you in the loop about our campaigns for blind and partially sighted people. (Don't want to be kept up to date? Don't worry, you can opt out at any time)
