Ask your council to take sight loss seriously

The number of people living with sight loss is due to double to four million by 2050 yet over 50 per cent of sight loss is avoidable. Too many local authorities still do not recognise the needs of blind and partially sighted people and those at risk of losing their sight. Ask your council what they are doing to ensure that blind and partially sighted people receive the support they need and to ensure that people in your area do not lose their sight unnecessarily.
