Ask your MP to support a Robin Hood Tax

Three years after the economic crash, ordinary people around the world are still paying the price of a crisis they did nothing to cause. A Robin Hood Tax on the banks could raise tens of billions to help protect public services, fight poverty and tackle climate change at home and abroad.

This tax has gathered support from dozens of countries, including Germany, France, South Africa and Brazil. Bill Gates, Archbishop Rowan Williams, the Vatican and 1,000 economists have added their support. Yet the UK Government is continuing to resist this growing international pressure to introduce a Robin Hood Tax.

A Robin Hood Tax could happen but it needs your help. Ask your MP to use their influence in Parliament to make this tax a reality.

We know lots of you have contacted your MP before, so based on feedback from thousands of you and MPs themselves we've worked hard to make new customised actions that answer concerns expressed, and help move the conversation forward.

Select which best describes you from below. There are plenty of opportunities for you to add your own thoughts on the next page.
