Share our report with your local decision makers

When you have serious health needs, getting the professional care you, or someone close to you, needs shouldn’t be a battle. But all too often it is.

NHS continuing healthcare (NHS CHC) is free healthcare provided outside of hospital that is arranged and funded by the NHS in England.

It can be received in any setting, including a care home, hospice, or the home of the individual or their relative. When delivered effectively, it can enable people to go on living as full a life as possible. It can also have the benefit of reducing anxiety and minimising pressure on family and friends.

The Continuing Healthcare Alliance believes that NHS CHC is failing people across England. You can help us improve the system by sharing our report and recommendations with your local decision makers.

This campaign is currently only running in England as Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have different systems in place.

Any problems just drop us an email

Fill out the form below to generate a message we've prepared for you to send to your local MP - you can edit and send the letter on the next page. Bear in mind that if you take longer than fifteen minutes the email might time out. So if you want to write large amounts, it’s a good idea to prepare it in advance and then copy and paste it in to the letter.

Are you happy for us to contact you with further information and actions you can take to support this campaign?
The form above will generate an email to your MP, after which you will be invited to email the chair of your local clinical commissioning group (CCG) as well. If you don't want to contact your MP, you can skip straight to emailing your local CCG chair by clicking here.
