Child neglect ruins lives, robs children of their childhood and tears families apart. Yet the law on neglect is out of date.

MPs have an urgent opportunity to update the law to cover emotional neglect which we now know is hugely damaging to a child’s development.

Although the law only applies to England & Wales, MPs in Scotland & Northern Ireland will also vote so their support is equally important.
